Changing the colors in a room can often be a real headache. Most people usually start off with hiring a professional painter to come into their home and repaint the walls and the ceiling for them. This is by far the quickest way, but it is also one of the most costly ways to change the color of the room. Then there are the rest of us who can not afford to hire a professional painter. We seem to struggle over the course of a weekend to get the paint on the walls and the project finished.
What if I told you that those white walls were perfect for adding color to without the expense or the hassle of repainting the entire room! Most people think it is the walls that add the color to the room, but in reality white walls can be the perfect canvas to express yourself with. How about instead of repainting your room you add colorful décor to the room instead.
White Changing Table
One of my favorite design schemes is the use of black leather furniture with white walls, and bright blood red accessories. I mean who does not like black leather furniture? The only thing you need to do is maybe add some red curtains, a few beautiful paintings, some matching pillows, and my all time favorite the red shag rug. The reason that using a red shag area rug in the room is my favorite is because you can place your black leather furniture around the edges of the rug and the contrasting colors just seem to draw you in. Plus shag rugs are so soft, and the added texture that they bring into the room can not be beat. Then all you need to do is add maybe a nickle plated coffee table, and your room is good to go!
